Relish was proud to operate Hunting Butts Hospitality adjacent to Cheltenham Racecourse during the world-renowned Cheltenham Festival – four days of elite jump racing, unforgettable moments, and exceptional hospitality.
With tens of thousands of racegoers descending on the racecourse each day, Gold Cup Week is one of the UK’s most prestigious sporting events. Relish provided two distinct hospitality offerings, simultaneously delivering high-volume, high-quality service from Tuesday through to Friday.
Hunting Butts Premium Hospitality
We operated two bespoke hospitality venues, designed to suit different styles of race day indulgence:
The Dining Marquee
A formal, plated three-course restaurant experience for up to 800 guests each day. With crisp white linens, coordinated front-of-house service, and a menu celebrating seasonal British produce, this venue offered elevated dining amidst the buzz of the Festival.
The Buffet Marquee
A more relaxed but equally refined setting for 200 guests per day. A generous, chef-curated buffet was served throughout the afternoon, featuring fresh salads, hot mains, and sweet treats – all designed for guests to help themselves while soaking up the racing atmosphere.
Operational Excellence at Cheltenham
Running both venues side by side, Relish deployed a full hospitality team of chefs, waitstaff, front-of-house managers and logistics coordinators to ensure seamless delivery across all four days.
We provided:
• High-volume plated service at scale
• Freshly replenished buffet stations
• Full bar service and afternoon teas
• Hospitality for 1,000 guests per day across both venues
